    Laplace Transform and MRP

The Laplace Transform together with Input-Output Analysis has been applied for the sake of formulating a basic theoretical description of multi- level, multi-period production-inventory systems (such as Material Requirements Planning, MRP). Lately, this research has been conducted in collaboration with the University of Ljubljana, where a number of extensions have been developed.

    Symmetry In Dancing

Shape is one of the elements of dancing. It refers to the movements that a dancer makes. It has 3 concepts which are: Levels, Symmetry and Assymetry, and Scale. Since we are just concerned about symmetry, I won’t discuss the other two concepts.

These are the two types of symmetry in dancing:
    1) Symmetric position – the position of the right side of the body is the same with the left side
    2) Symmetric sequence – the movement made by the right side of the body is mirrored by the left side (e.g. arm wave)

    Superman Punch

Superman punch is a technique where a fighter moves his rear leg forward (faking a kick), then snapping it back while throwing a cross punch and using his front leg to lunge his body forward. It is one of the signature moves of George Saint Pierre(GSP), and is is also the finisher of Roman Reigns.

For a the superman punch to be effective/powerful, the fighter should be able to use all of the vectors(forces) applied in his movement effectively. When executing a superman punch, the body travels in a parabolic path and for it to be powerful, the fighter should be able to land his punch in the direction of the tangent line because it indicates the direction where his body is heading, thus making his superman punch more effective.

    Week 1: Introduce yourself

Hi!
